Mysore Race Club Limited

At the foot of the Chamundi hills, lies The Mysore Race Club, beautifully sprawling into endless lush greenery. Built first in 1891, under the guidance of the rulers of Mysore, it is easily among the most picturesque turfs in the country. The Mysore Race Club Ltd was formed in 1968 and has been running under the rules of the Bangalore Turf Club. The oval shaped track, is spread across 152 acres, has a grand stand, a paddock complex, spacious and well ventilated stables are aready known to be the best in the country. Hosting races all year long, Mysore is slowly shifting towards being an independent turf authority.
